"Super" Science in the River City
Our regular SIRC professional development program is super-sized for this full day Saturday event for K-12 elementary and science teachers.
Summer Institutes
Our week long summer programs offer a deep dive into NGSS, sense-making, or specific science content. Topics and dates vary year to year.
Grant Programs
We collaborate with school districts and County Offices of Education to write grant proposals for funding professional learning programs in science
Additional Services
Work with a select group of university science and education faculty from UC Davis and Sacramento State to design and implement personalized programs.
The Sacramento Area Science Project (SASP) is an educational partnership between the University of California, Davis, and California State University, Sacramento. Our mission is to provide high quality professional development services to improve the teaching and learning of science in the greater Sacramento region. SASP is a regional site of the California Science Project, one of the California Subject Matter Projects.
